Trump’s Gregg Jarrett Truth Social Post: Russia-Collusion Claims Explained

posted on October 14, 2026

President Donald Trump praised Gregg Jarrett in an October 13 Truth Social post and directed readers to Jarrett’s Fox News opinion piece about the Russia-collusion investigation. The post announced no new federal policy, spending, energy action, or change affecting working families; it was a statement of support for Jarrett and his argument.

Trump wrote, “Gregg Jarrett is fantastic — A MUST WATCH!” in the Truth Social post. He then shared Jarrett’s description of his own opinion piece, which says Trump “was framed by the Russia collusion hoax.”

What President Trump said

The President’s October 13 post endorsed Jarrett and linked to his Fox News opinion article. It did not order an agency to act, release records, change a law, or announce a new investigation.

That distinction matters. A presidential social-media statement can make a political argument, but federal action requires an order, agency decision, court filing, or law. None was announced in this post.

What the federal record says about the FBI and FISA

The Russia investigation and the FBI’s use of surveillance authorities remain subjects of major public concern because Americans deserve agencies that follow the law and protect civil liberties. In a House Judiciary Committee hearing record published by GovInfo, FBI Director Christopher Wray said the Inspector General’s findings on certain FISA applications were “unacceptable” and said the FBI had adopted the Inspector General’s recommendations.

Wray also told the committee that he had ordered more than 40 corrective actions involving FISA policies and procedures. That is a documented government response, separate from the President’s October 13 statement and Jarrett’s linked opinion.

What has changed after this post

No new government action is described in the post itself. Readers looking for a policy change should watch for a White House announcement, a Justice Department action, a court record, or a congressional measure. Until then, the concrete development is Trump’s public endorsement of Jarrett’s commentary.
