Trump Says He Will Ban ‘AI’ Term From Official Documents: Policy Claim

posted on October 29, 2026

The President’s Truth Social post asks when The Wall Street Journal will stop calling Artificial Intelligence (AI) “a very bad and inaccurate name,” and the post does not give a date. It says “we will be officially BANNING the term, ‘AI/Artificial Intelligence,’ in all relevant documents, and everything else, due to its inaccuracy.” As written, that ban is the President’s stated plan. The post names no order, agency or start date.

What exactly did Trump post about AI?

In the President’s Truth Social post, he calls “Artificial Intelligence (AI)” a very bad and inaccurate name. He asks when The Wall Street Journal will start calling it “SI (Super Intelligence),” which he describes as “the name which virtually everyone else is using, or soon will be.” That last point is his claim.

What is verified is the post itself: it was published on his Truth Social account on October 27, 2026, at 16:14 UTC. Everything it says about future action is his statement.

Is the AI term ban in effect yet?

No written order or agency action is cited in the post. The post says the change will come “In short order,” but it does not give a date. Until a written order from the White House or a federal agency appears, treat the ban as a stated plan.

What does this mean for working families?

The post does not say how the change would affect jobs, prices or paychecks. Its reach as written is “all relevant documents, and everything else,” which is broad. The written order, when it comes, is where you will see what it covers.

We at USPatriotNews.com back plain, accurate language in the government’s own records. We will report the paperwork when it appears.

How does this fit with other Truth Social claims?

For an earlier Truth Social post that uses the “Super Intelligence” name, read our piece on the super intelligence force policy post. For a running record of his Truth Social claims, see the trump truth social claims page.

Before you follow this, check

  • Whether a written order from the White House or an agency sets a start date. The post gives none.
  • Which documents the ban covers. The post says “all relevant documents” but does not name them.
  • Whether the ban would replace “AI” with “Super Intelligence” in official documents. The post asks about The Wall Street Journal, and it does not describe a government replacement term.
