Does Heatomi Work? Claims, Price, Safety and Refund Guide

posted on October 31, 2026

Heatomi is a plug-in ceramic heater. Its maker says it warms the room you are in within minutes, so you do not have to heat the whole house. The product page shows a 4.8/5 rating from 1,527 reviews and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Whether it works for your room comes down to the room’s size and how you plan to use it, and the sections below cover each point so you can decide.

What is Heatomi and what does it do?

The Heatomi PTC Heater is sold as a portable room heater. The product page says it is built to “Warm Any Room in Minutes Without the High Heating Bills.” Here is what the seller lists:

Feature What the seller says
Heating element HeatCore™ ceramic element that “reaches full heat in seconds”
Heat settings 2 heat modes, with the temperature adjustable
Timer Up to 90 minutes; the FAQ lists 30-, 60- and 90-minute settings
Remote control Turns it on and off, adjusts the heat and sets the timer from across the room
Setup Plug into a standard wall socket; no app or installation
Safety Tip-over and overheat protection; flame-retardant housing
Noise “a soft, low hum”
Portability Light, with a carry handle

Does a handy heater like this work?

The maker says Heatomi “reaches full heat in seconds” and that its fan spreads that heat across the room. What it does show is customer reports. One reviewer wrote, “It heats the living room in about ten minutes.” Another, who doubted a large room would be warmed by something this size, wrote “Warm in about ten minutes” and added “Glad I was wrong.”

Some reviewers on the seller’s page report a room feeling warmer in about ten minutes, but these reports are not independently verified. Your room’s size and starting temperature will change the result.

How long should you run it?

The timer is the simplest guide. The product page says you can “Choose a timer up to 90 minutes,” and the FAQ lists 30-, 60- and 90-minute settings. The seller suggests using the timer “For extra peace of mind,” so the heater switches itself off. The remote lets you set the timer from across the room.

Does it save money on heating?

The maker’s case is simple. Central heating warms every room at once, while Heatomi warms only the room you are in. The FAQ says, “You use far less energy, so you pay far less.” The page also says “Save up to 70%” and its comparison table marks Heatomi as “Cheap to run.”

Customer reports point the same way. One reviewer wrote, “Bill came in lower last month, which was a nice surprise!” Another wrote that the heater helped them “cut my heating bill in more than a half.” These are individual reports, not measured results.

What does it cost to run?

Check the label on the unit or the box, or ask the seller before you order. Multiply the wattage by the hours of use, divide by 1,000 to get kilowatt-hours, then multiply by the rate on your electricity bill. For example, a 1,500-watt heater running for 8 hours uses 12 kilowatt-hours. Compare the wattage on the labels of any heaters you are considering, because that number sets the running cost.

Is Heatomi an energy-saver device?

No. Heatomi is a heater, not a plug-in device that cuts your bill on its own. The seller’s pitch is to heat one room instead of the whole house. If you are weighing plug-in savers in general, Do Energy-Saving Devices Really Work? explains how to check those claims.

Research on energy-saving technology can be far from plug-in products. A 2026 review in Small covers thermal devices that switch between solar heating and radiative cooling. That is a different class of device from a plug-in heater, so it says nothing about Heatomi.

Is Heatomi safe to leave on?

The maker lists built-in tip-over and overheat protection. The FAQ says the heater “shuts off automatically if it’s tilted or knocked over,” and that if it gets too hot, the thermal cut-off stops it and resets once it has cooled. The housing is listed as flame-retardant ABS.

On overnight use, the seller’s FAQ says: “Yes. You can safely use this heater while sleeping because its tip-over and overheat protections are always on.” That is the maker’s statement.

Who is it for?

The page shows Heatomi used in offices, living rooms, bedrooms and a child’s room. One reviewer wrote about her mother, who is 82: “My mum is 82 and hates anything with lots of buttons. This has one for power, one for heat and one for the timer.”

How does it compare with other heaters?

The seller’s own comparison table lists these differences, with a generic “Others” column rather than named brands:

Feature Heatomi (seller’s claim) Others (seller’s claim)
Heats only the room you’re in ✓ ✗
Warms up in minutes ✓ ✗
Cheap to run ✓ ✗
Timer control ✓ ✗
No installation needed ✓ ✗
Easy to move around ✓ ✗
Safe to keep on ✓ ✓

The page’s core argument is that other heaters “waste time warming every room whether you need it or not.” The fair test is whether you need heat in one room or several.

Is Heatomi legit?

The product page names the product, lists prices, gives a refund window and shows customer reviews. The reviews sit on the seller’s own page. The rating breakdown for the 1,527 reviews is below.

Star rating Number of reviews
5 stars 1,250
4 stars 242
3 stars 29
2 stars 6
1 star 0

The page also shows an award claim: “Heatomi Was Rated The Best Low-Cost Room Heater Of 2026.” It also quotes a heating engineer, David Hargreaves, who says, “Heating rooms you’re not in is the biggest waste on your bill.” These are the seller’s own quotes.

Keep a few things in mind. The page shows a countdown timer, a “Limited Offer” label and stock levels listed as “LOW.” The discounts are the seller’s own. Use the checks in the scams and consumer protection guide before you pay. For Heatomi, contact the seller first through the Help link on the product page.

How much does Heatomi cost?

Prices as of October 30, 2026; check the checkout for today’s. The seller shows three packages. The page labels the two-pack “Best Seller” and the three-pack “Best Value.”

Package Price each Total Seller’s “reduced from” price Advertised savings
1 heater $119.99 $119.99 $266.64 55%
2 heaters (Best Seller) $99.85 $199.70 $570.57 65%
3 heaters (Best Value) $89.49 $268.47 $894.90 70%

The three-pack has the lowest price per heater, and the single heater has the lowest upfront payment. Compare today’s price and shipping on the Product Page before you order.

The seller’s pages also give different ship-by dates. One says Nov 1, while others say Oct 23 and Oct 24. Confirm the date that applies to your order at checkout.

What is the refund policy?

The product page lists a “30-Day Money-Back Guarantee” and says, “Send your package back and get a full refund, no questions asked.” Ask the seller these three things before you order, and keep your order confirmation.

Before you order

  • Today’s price, shipping charge and taxes at checkout.
  • Which ship-by date applies to your order.
  • When your 30 days start, who pays return shipping and whether a restocking fee applies.
  • The wattage, from the label on the unit or the box.
  • Whether the “Limited Offer” discount is still running when you check out.
